Information and referral services to persons of all ages who are seeking help from Health and Human Services agencies in Cooke, Fannin, and Grayson counties. Specialized access and assistance is provided to persons with disabilities and/or who are elderly.
The Texoma Council of Governments (TCOG) is proud to partner with Grayson County, Fannin County and Cooke County in assigning addresses and developing maps that help first responders get to the right location as quickly as possible.
This program offers a monthly support group, monthly newsletter and resource center offering information, counseling and material to teach about how to manage caregiver stress in positive ways.
The Area Agency on Aging of Texoma is responsible for the development and coordination of a comprehensive system of services for citizens over the age of 60 and for citizens with a disability residing in Cooke, Fannin, and Grayson Counties in North Texas.
TCOG’s Client Services Department specializes in programs that provide direct services to low-income families living in the Texoma Region. Housing services include Public Housing, Section 8 Rent Assistance, Energy Assistance, and Weatherization.
The TCOG Community Services/ Energy Assistance Program provides low-income families with utility payment assistance and the provision of supportive services in an effort to transition out of poverty and off public assistance.
