Texas State Independent Living Council (TxSILC)- Transportation Works Town Hall Meeting
Light Refreshments will be provided.
The Texas State Independent Living Council (SILC) will hold a forum style public meeting at TCOG to solicit input and feedback in reporting transportation concerns and increasing mobility options for individuals with disabilities, their family members, and human service providers pursuant to the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) goals. One of the SPIL goals addresses transportation services and identifies the need to increase mobility options for people with disabilities. These meetings will help the SILCs efforts to improve coordination between transportation consumers and providers.
At the public meeting you can talk with the staff and provide your opinions to increase mobility transportation options. Your input will help the SILC develop transportation ridership options and partnership between consumers and transportation providers. All meeting notices, schedules, agenda, and minutes will be available at
Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids or services are requested to contact the Transportation Works Team at (512) 371-7353 or via email firstname.lastname@example.org five business days prior to the meetings so that appropriate arrangements may be made.
Public comments will be accepted throughout the development of the needs assessment and analysis report until April 30, 2015. Written comments may be submitted by email to gro/clisxt//snoitacinummoc or mail to:
