The Texoma region is located in north central Texas south of Lake Texoma and the Red River that borders the states of Oklahoma and Texas which includes Cooke, Fannin, and Grayson Counties. This diverse three-county area is home to a diverse economy and unusually family-friendly and affordable quality of life.
Regional Economic Development Strategy
Each year, community and local leaders participate in discussions and projects that help boost the regional economy and profile. One aspect of that important work is through the(CEDS). This strategic planning document analyzes the regional economy and serves as a guide for establishing regional goals and objectives for developing and implementing strategies for integrating Texoma’s human and physical capital strengths. The Texoma CEDS is the result of a continuing economic development process developed with broad-based and diverse public and private sector participation to clearly define economic development problems and metrics for measuring the success of implemented strategies.
